Crazy Love by Francis Chan
The Christian Atheist by Craig Groeschel
They Like Jesus but Not the Church by Dan Kimball
Lent is a time of fasting and deep spiritual growth for many of us. We usually give something up and take something on. For many years I have seen people waver in their walk with Christ, me included. Struggles include, but are not limited to, prayer, forgiveness, worry, giving and trusting God. Over 40 days we will join together as we attempt to open our hearts, minds and souls to God. Join us on this new journey as we ponder some very difficult questions and topics. Here are the some of our informing Scriptures and the sermon titles.
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. Titus 1:16 (NIV)
Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 1:11 (American Standard)
