DELLA LAMB- Della Lamb Community Services was founded in 1897 as a Methodist Mission to provide child care for poor, working mothers. Today, we provide low-income families with early education, childcare, youth services, adult services, adult education, transportation, emergency social services, international refugee services, elementary charter school education, back to school supplies, Thanksgiving and Christmas groceries and gifts.

Needs: Cash Donations, Cell Phones, Bath Towels & Washcloths, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels & Napkins, Twin Sheets, Blankets & Pillows, Family Sized Shampoo & Conditioner, African-American Hair Supplies, First Aid Supplies & Cold Medicine, Children's Socks & Underwear, Hand Sanitizer, Vacuum

SPOFFORD HOME-In 1916, Mrs. Thomas M. Spofford gave her mansion at 25th and Paseo to the women of the Methodist Episcopal church to be used as an orphanage. More than 90 years later, Spofford continues to provide hope and healing to abused and neglected children as well as preventative, community-based services that build family strength and foster child success at home, school and in the community.

RESTART- Overnight Emergency Shelter, Family Emergency Shelter, Transitional Living, Homeless Services Center, Permanent Supportive Housing, Economic Development, Supportive Services: Health care; educational assistance; chemical dependency support groups; life skills classes; housing assistance; and HIV/AIDS care, soup kitchen.
